Engagement options

What are the ways of working with us?

There are two. The core one is optimising the fleet that works for you, and most of the content on this website is about it. If you would rather hand over transport entirely, a logistics company in our group or a partner can take over the work.

Core option

Fleet optimisation

Diagram: your company keeps a direct relationship with the fleet, your own or carriers’; between them, optionally, driver apps and a dispatch system, yours or ours. Dispatch Rangers connects from the side: your company passes information on resources and orders live, with every update, and Dispatch Rangers sends back plans, schedules and order allocation, while the Dispatch Rangers team provides analyses, reports and improvements.DispatchRangersanalyses, reportsand improvementsresourcesand orderswith updatesplans, schedules andorder allocation, liveYour companyoptional:driver apps anddispatch system, yours or oursFleetown orcarriers’for vehicles, hours and km

You keep the relationship with your fleet, your own or carriers’. We connect from the side: we automate resource planning and dispatch, and our team keeps working on the results. Our fee is a fraction of your savings.

  • Free audit, data analysis and pilot
  • Fee: 10 to 35% of real savings, depending on contract length and scale
  • Typically 10–30% fewer vehicles for the same work

Additional option

Delivery and transport outsourcing

Diagram: your company passes orders to a logistics company in the Dispatch Rangers group or a partner and pays it a rate, for example per delivery. The logistics company has the relationship with the fleet, its own or carriers’, and pays for vehicles, hours and kilometres. Dispatch Rangers connects from the side to the logistics company: it receives information on resources and orders with updates and sends back plans, schedules and order allocation.DispatchRangersresources and orderswith updatesplans, schedulesand allocationYour companyLogisticscompanygroup or partnerFleetown orcarriers’a rate, e.g. per deliveryfor vehicles, hours and km

  • payments

If you would rather hand over logistics entirely, the delivery or transport work is taken over by a logistics company in our group or a partner company we work with.

You pay it a rate, for example per delivery or another billing unit, but not directly for resources (vehicles, hours and kilometres). Those costs are borne by the logistics company, so keeping them down is in its interest, and we work with it on optimisation. This model serves brands including KFC, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s and Stokrotka.

Pricing model

How much does fleet optimisation cost?

Our entire fee, all charges combined, is 10 to 35% of the savings we actually generate. Most of the savings stay with you.

Everything that happens before savings appear is free: the audit, the analysis of your historical data, reports and a pilot at selected locations. You can stop the analysis or pilot at any time.

If the pilot shows no results, we do not sign a contract. If results are missing during the cooperation, we charge no fee for those periods.

The share depends on the flexibility of the contract and the scale of cooperation: a flexible contract at a small scale is the top of the range, a long-term contract at a large scale the bottom.

We calculate the pricing model separately for each fleet, from its cost parameters. In the contract it takes a concrete form, for example a rate per completed order, set so that the total stays within this range.

A fair baseline

How do we calculate the savings?

A saving is a cost the fleet does not incur because its productivity is higher than the baseline productivity. Every month the baseline answers one question: what productivity would this location have reached with its previous dispatching, but under this month’s operating conditions, such as the size of the delivery zone, road conditions or order preparation time? We calculate our fee only on the surplus over that baseline.

The measure: fleet productivity
Most often orders per driver working hour: completed orders divided by working hours from your records. It is usually a KPI you already track. For other kinds of logistics we choose a measure based on the same cost drivers: vehicles, hours and kilometres.
A separate baseline for each location
We set the baseline from about three months of your data before implementation.
Adjusted monthly, using a fixed formula
We measure operating conditions objectively, from GPS and navigation distances. The formula and parameters are set once, at the start, and then frozen, so the method stays the same.
Your improvements and better conditions raise the baseline
A smaller delivery zone, faster order preparation, or lighter traffic raise the baseline, so you do not pay for them.
A success fee only on the surplus
No surplus over the baseline means no success fee for that location in that month.
Verifiable inputs
Every input can be checked: your working-hours data and GPS measurements.
Diagram: productivity bars over six months compared with a baseline adjusted every month. The part of a bar above the baseline is the surplus on which the success fee is calculated. In month three productivity is below the baseline, so there is no success fee. From month five the baseline rises thanks to the client’s improvements or better conditions, such as a smaller delivery zone, so the surplus on which the success fee is calculated is smaller.M1M2M3nosuccess feeM4M5M6baseline rises thanksto your improvements
  • Surplus over the baseline: the success fee is calculated on this
  • Baseline: productivity before implementation, adjusted every month
  • Productivity up to the baseline: no success fee
  • Baseline increase from your improvements or better conditions (e.g. a smaller delivery zone): no success fee

Effect of our implementation

our fee is calculated on this

  • Number of drivers and vehicles matched to the order forecast
  • Combining orders in one trip: less time at the pickup point and shared kilometres
  • Less driver idle time
  • Decisions on when a driver should arrive for an order

Operating conditions

the baseline is adjusted for these every month

  • Delivery zone and distances to customers
  • Traffic and road conditions
  • Order preparation and hand-over time
  • Walking from parking to the pickup point and back
  • Time at the customer

Contract

Do we require exclusivity or a long-term contract?

No. You choose the contract: flexible, or long-term in exchange for a lower fee.

Flexible contract

You can terminate it at any time. For that freedom you pay a share closer to the top of the range.

Long-term contract

In exchange for a binding commitment you pay the least: at a large scale up to three times less than under a flexible contract. You pay less, and we gain a stable relationship.

We do not require exclusivity. We recommend this sequence:

  1. start on a flexible contract,
  2. measure the real savings on your fleet,
  3. once you see them, move to a long-term contract and lower our fee.

Who we work with

Why do we take the risk on ourselves?

Because we only commit to projects where we see potential for savings. We run the analysis and pilot at our own cost, so a project without results means our team’s time lost. That is why we first check four conditions.

Commitment and openness

Results require joint work. We work with companies that are ready to change their processes. If we see a high risk that a project will not be seen through, we turn it down at the start.

The right scale

With small fleets, a fraction of the savings would not cover the work we put into the rollout and then into our ongoing work with the client: oversight, analysis and the search for further improvements.

Changing logistics

Orders, demand and conditions change from day to day and even within a day. There is then very little time for an optimal decision, often a matter of minutes or seconds. That is where a well-tuned system delivers the biggest savings.

Potential in the data

Before we propose a pilot, we use historical data to assess the realistic savings potential. If we do not see it, we say so straight away.

We do not sell services in the usual way. We look for partners for joint projects and run a limited number of them, because each one needs continuous work from our team.

How to start

What is the path from a first conversation to continuous optimisation?

First we check whether the project makes economic sense. We implement only once the pilot shows real savings.

  1. Conversation and assessment

We check whether fleet size, how changeable the logistics are, the potential and team readiness give a chance of results. If not, we say so straight away.

  2. Audit and data analysis: free

You share historical data on resources and orders. We show how far vehicles, working hours, kilometres and management costs can realistically be reduced at your company.

  3. Pilot: free

Preparation takes a few weeks. Then, for about 3 months, we run full optimisation at selected locations.

You can stop the pilot at any time. Reliable conclusions need a sufficient volume of orders.

  4. A decision based on results

We present the pilot results and a business case for a wider rollout, including savings on management and administration costs. The decision is yours, and without results we do not sign a contract.

  5. Implementation

We are on site for the first rollouts: we launch the first locations and train your people. At further locations we support your teams remotely.

Integrations with popular systems are ready, so the work on your IT side is minimal.

  6. Continuous optimisation and success fee

Continuous analysis of results, fine-tuning and further improvements. You pay a share of real savings. On a flexible contract, you can withdraw at any time.

Let’s check whether your fleet has potential

Start with a conversation and historical data on your fleet and orders. The analysis is free. If we do not see potential, we will tell you straight away.
