About us
We come from the world of technology and science. 12 years ago we founded a logistics company and brought its logistics indicators to record levels in the industry. Today we turn a unique combination of practical experience and a strong scientific and technical background into results for our clients.
Our story
Technology and science. We come from computer science, algorithms and research. For years we ran technology and research projects, and several of them succeeded commercially, including eight international patents in mobile technology licensed from us by consortia of the largest manufacturers.
2014: an idea for last-mile logistics. We saw huge potential for optimisation in on-demand deliveries from restaurants, shops and warehouses, completed within a few hours at most. We wanted to build tools for logistics companies based on one shared fleet serving many pickup points. It soon turned out there was no one to sell them to: without good tools such a fleet cannot be run efficiently, so almost nobody ran one. So we founded our own courier company, Stava.
A hard collision with reality. Programmers, engineers, scientists – we had to face the everyday reality personally of logistics: drivers, delays, absences, breakdowns, accidents, and the expectations of both shippers and recipients. We delivered orders ourselves and decided whom to send out when, in a hard frost, a third of the couriers did not turn up and there were more orders than usual. Most of our original assumptions did not survive the first days.
Years of refinement. Step by step we built tools that work not in publications and on theoretical datasets but in real transport: with imperfect data, unpredictable demand, human fallibility and clients’ expectations. Today Stava serves nearly 1,000 clients in about 50 cities. In a highly competitive market, with less scale and smaller budgets than the largest players, we held our ground through productivity: most decisions are made automatically, while keeping quality. Today we are glad that in 2014 we did not become just another logistics software vendor that does not know logistics from the inside.
Dispatch Rangers. Over the years we also analysed data from companies in other industries and helped them with individual projects. It turned out that our know-how and tools have much wider application. So we spun the courier business off into a company with its own management board, which operates under the Stava brand and remains in our group, and renamed our company, formerly Stava S.A., Dispatch Rangers S.A. We now focus on a few projects a year with large companies in related logistics industries. Because we are confident of the results, our entire fee is a fraction of the savings we actually generate.

What sets us apart
Only then is a solution both refined and effective in practice. Programmers write code, scientists do research, and practitioners know the realities of transport, which are very different from theoretical assumptions. Usually these are three different teams.
Operations research, optimisation algorithms, data analysis and machine learning. Our team includes PhDs and professors, with publications and patents to their name.
Our own delivERP platform, our own navigation and integrations, developed since 2014 by the same team that implements them.
For over 12 years we have dealt with the challenges of running our own fleet in about 50 cities: drivers, warehouses, recipients and everyday breakdowns.
Three roles, three different people
understanding of the problem · meetings and conversations
Knowledge passes only through conversations, as in a game of telephone. Only a small part reaches the person who builds the solution.
The same people
Someone who struggles with the problem first-hand and knows the tools sees its cause deep inside the system and knows how to remove it.
We are not smarter than many others. What sets us apart is that for over a decade we worked solely on scientific and technical details in a courier company operating every day. In fast-growing companies the best people have to deal with new products, features and markets, because growth pressure demands it. They rarely have time to spend a year refining one detail of one of many modules: a slightly more accurate demand forecast, a more precise travel time, or a shortcut through a gate that standard navigation misses.
Paradoxically, it helped that we did not grow at any cost. We did not seek capital that would force growth at a loss, so we had to achieve as much as possible at the scale we built: nearly 1,000 clients in about 50 cities. Large enough to feel the pressure of results and margins every day, and stable enough to keep introducing improvements.
Results are not decided by the size of the IT budget or data from many countries, but by how deeply you know how a fleet works and how long you have worked on its details.
The company is led by people who combine technical experience and scientific achievement with running a fleet. The same people develop the algorithms and, since 2014, have been responsible for the results of a courier company.

Co-founder, CEO
PhD in technical sciences. For 25 years, together with his brother Grzegorz, he has been putting technology and IT projects into practice. In 2014 he co-founded the courier company Stava, which he managed directly for 12 years, growing it into a network of about 1,000 couriers in around 50 cities that runs entirely on Dispatch Rangers solutions. He obtained his PhD at the age of 25, as one of the youngest PhDs in Poland. For ten years, alongside running his companies, he lectured at a university. He is the author of over 40 scientific publications and 8 international patents, all of them commercialised.

Co-founder, Vice-President, CTO
He is responsible for technology at Dispatch Rangers, including the development of the delivERP platform. In 2014 he co-founded the courier company Stava, where he served as vice-president for 12 years and, from 2020, also as chief technology officer. He specialises in business intelligence and big data processing. He has extensive experience in designing secure, reliable IT systems that run at large scale. He has advised many companies across industries on their technology challenges. He has worked in IT for over 20 years. He has experience in developing new technology products and leading teams, and has co-founded several technology companies.

Chief Scientist
Professor of technical sciences. A practitioner, always focused on real challenges across industries. He obtained his habilitation at 30 and the title of professor at 35, as one of the youngest professors in Poland. He specialises in data analysis, signal processing and machine learning. At Dispatch Rangers he works with the team every day on forecasting, planning and analytical tools, and on the many details that drive fleet efficiency. He is the author of over 200 publications, five monographs and three patents, and has supervised six doctoral theses and over 100 engineering and master’s theses, mostly in computer science. Since 2019 he has been an expert in the ministry’s “Implementation Doctorate” programme, which links research with the needs of businesses.
